Do I need to install an app?
No — if you're trying to contact a vehicle owner, you don't need
the app. Just open ContaQ Live in your mobile browser, search for
the vehicle, and get in touch.
To join the waitlist and register your own vehicle, you'll need
the ContaQ Live app and an email to receive your invite code.
How does someone contact my car?
They scan the ContaQ Live sticker or QR code on your vehicle, or search for your vehicle in ContaQ Live. If it's registered, they can call or message you right away — connected through ContaQ, so your real phone number is never shown.
Is my phone number visible?
No. Your real phone number is never shown to the other person. Your contact details remain private.
Can the vehicle owner see my number?
No. Calls and messages are relayed through ContaQ Live, so the vehicle owner never sees your real phone number.
What if the vehicle isn't registered on ContaQ Live?
You'll see that the vehicle isn't reachable through ContaQ Live yet. No owner contact details are exposed.
How do I register my own vehicle?
We're onboarding by invite only, in limited batches. Join the waitlist and we'll email you an invite code — once you have it, install the ContaQ Live app, redeem the code, and add your vehicle.
